Anyone have any good information on this atv??? Still looking at it. How reliable it is and awd etc.?? u get the drill. Also any belt problems?? All options please.

Oh man...you need to get the show on the road and go buy it!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] The 400 and 500HO are just way to proven. Granted that there have been a few minor changes like between the '04 and the '04.5 but in reality, these things are awesome machines! I am still under 10 hours on mine and going through a slow break-in but I have nop issues to report as of yet.

You are wise to research the machine before purchasing. However, I can assure you that the 500 HO is powerfull, well suspended and reliable machine. The 400 is also a nice machine but slightly underpowered. I have had one since May of 2001 and have not had any problems except rolling my first one down a hill end over end to it's death.

Buy the machine and you will be happy.

 

Cool Weedy...way to cheat death! Did it really total it out? My Gun Dealer friend was on a local Pig Hunting trip when he lost his 2000 500 and watched it roll over a passenger, spill the rifles and other goodies as it did the end over end dance about 150 feet down a hill and came to an abrupt stop against an Oak tree! He was able to recover it and rebuilt it. The thing had some broken plastic and the frame was tweaked so the tore it down, bought a new frame and bolted it back together. I think he was lucky!
