Default Front hub problem

HELP

I have a 1993 350L 4x4

One of the front wheels will not drive.

I have changed the fluid hoping that would help... nope...
I pulled the hub and could not see any damage. put it back together refilled the fluid (ATF - F) to the 4:00 position and tried again... nope.
I checked the wire at the terminal board and got about the same resistance as the working side. (I would need to try that one again to get the exact ohmage value)

any suggestions on what to check next?

Check for broken wire between hub and the board..very common for the wires to break(normally where the clamp is on strut) should be two small wires running from hub to connector ..they are inside of plastic cover...hope this helps...

If your willing to take the hub apart again this will tell you if the electrics are working. With the hub removed and all of the other parts except leave the armature plate against the coil (strut housing) turn the key on and turn the 4 wheel drive on you should not be able to move the armature plate . There will be a strong magnetic field holding it, if the isn't the you know you are not getting power since you said that you are reading resistance when measured with an ohm meter. Good Luck!!!

OK Just fixed it... and somebody may find this information usefull even though it makes me seem foolish.

the clutch housing attaches to the drive shaft with a 1/4' key. when the key is sheared off it does not drive.

replaced key and everything is working fine.
