but for putting it back together what about assembly lube. can i just use regular two stroke polaris oil. the mineral based not synthetic. i dont think im gonna go pay 40 bucks for a service manual just yet. im prttey sure i can get by with out on but if anyone on here feels so inclined they may scan or take a picture and put it up on here. is there anyway that i can get one for free or download it for free?

No assembly lube needed. I just put a thin coat of 2 stroke oil on the cylinder before assembly. Also keep the inside of the cylinder oiled after machine work is done to keep it from rusting.

thanks jeff but i cant, i would get in to much trouble with my mom.`i trust u but she would be very angry with me for givingout my address. would it be possible for u to send it to the post office and i could sign for it and pick it up there. it would be nice to have the tool but if not oh well i guess. but thanks for the offer though. those instructions are complicated so ithink imight be better off takin digital pictures ofit and printing them off when i dissasemble it. scott

Pics. are always nice to have when going back together. It's A real easy job you won't have a problem. The hardest part is that darn upper cyl mount and it's not even that bad.
I can send the tool anywhere you want just let me know.

Scott it is a piece of cake. The hardest part is getting the wrist pin clips in place.

Oh yeah guess your right Whuggs that does suck a little more than the mount LOL.. It's when it pops out and goes bounceing across the shop or down in the crankcase (put a rag over the crankcase scott) that I get Pi$$ed.
