Front wheel bearings?
#1
I have a 2001 trail boss with worn out front wheel bearings. I took the front hub off and placed it on a piece of wood. I then took a socket and placed it on the inner bearing and gave it a few good hits and nothing. I'm afriad if I hit it any harder I'll bust the front hub. Any suggestions?

Possibly you are trying to knock the bearing out the wrong way??
Use this diagram: '01 TB front wheel hub - the location of the bearings is direction they each have to come out. I use a large drift punch to reach inside to get to the bearing race (if you don't mind ruining a 6" or 9" 3/8" drive ratchet extension, they work good too) - sometimes it takes a bigger hammer to make them start to move
