Default which chain tensioner????

Which tensioner is the best for my new '04 trailboss??? I've already noticed the annoying clank-clank sound from the chain as it
rubs against the lower chain guide...and we'v only got just over 2 ours on it!!! Thanks.

You may be able to fix that noise by adjusting the chain guide. As far as the chain tensionor goes, they all (HPD,HSP, RCR, Aaen) pretty much do the same thing. I myself am a supporter of HPD products so thats what I got

Just put one from HPD on a couple of weeks ago. Very easy, only took me 20 min. I had a sawsall to speed thing up though.
I am very happy with it

I wish I had a sawsall when I did mine. I had to do it the old fashioned way, with a hack saw. That wasnt fun LOL

Yea the sawsall made it go nice and easy. like I said 20 min. and I was done.

I am inquiring about a guard for the rear from Pro Armor theres seems like the best one. The guy is going to get back to me this coming week if it will fit with the HPD chain tensioner. Of all the rear guards Ive seen the pro armor one looks like it wouldnt get stuck on anything and would protect everything too I will let you guys know what he tells me >!
