Sportsman headlight pod and parts source
Now that my scabs are going away, I'm trying to find both halves of the headlight pod for my '98 Sportsman 500. Unfortunately, my local dealer seems to mark up Polaris parts about 20%, plus he has to order just about everything. If I have to wait, I'd just as soon order from someone else.
Can anyone recommend a good source for Polaris parts? By that I mean someone with reasonable prices who actually keeps a stock of parts on hand. I need a bunch of stuff and I'd like to support someone who actually keps an inventory because I'm about as impatient as a guy can get.
Thanks!

Partsland.com has virtually everything and their web site has good exploded parts diagrams. Their prices are probably not the lowest but I found them better than the Desert Motorsports prices, even after shipping fees. Also, for used parts try Jerry Delaney in Jacksonville, TX. (903)589-1119 or (903) 721-0677. Last year I completely rebuilt a 97 Xplorer that had been rolled down an 800-foot hill, so needed a lot of parts. Delaney sent a couple of parts that were not the right fit, but he took them back and sent the right ones without any hassles.
Unfortunately, I agree that our local dealers in the Phx area have poor parts inventories and high prices.
