Default porting question??

People have told me that race porting with a trail pipe would not work very good, but the hot seat exterminator kit is that same setup?????

It will work just fine ,you just won't get all the power that will come out of the porting with the trail pipe. You will probably have real good bottom end with the trail pipe.

You wont have as good of a bottom end with a race port and a trail pipe as you would with the trail porting because of the raising of the exhaust port. The hotseat pipe is adjustable which helps. I've never seen the porting specs on their cylinders, so they may be in the middle somewhere. I can tell you that it takes quite a bit to go from 65hp to over 70. It's just usually best to stick with the whole trail setup or the race setup.

Default porting question??

I ran my race port with my LRD adjustable pipe for a while and it had lot's of bottom end power.Like Bubba stated maybe it's because of the adjustable pipe.

Default porting question??

i blew up 2 kit hot seat exterminator kit ion the past and it is not
as near in terms of quality running engines and reliability,,
hot seat kit really haul *** if you consider they offer only pipe, porting and heads, but the better whole engines mods thing come from hpd with the flywheel,timing,,girdle,pwk,... items that really make the package reliable and smooth in the big end,.
