I have a 700 twin EFI. I want to improve the low end/acceleration performance. What clutch springs or clutch kits would best improve performace? It is still 100% stock and any other suggestions would be appreciated

you can try one of the aftermarket clutch companies like Dalton industries or Heel Clicker. I put a heel clicker kit in my 02 700 and it really made a difference, but it will take some time to set it up right. I tried several combinations of springs and weights before I got what I wanted.

Mine will bring the front wheels off the ground too. The problem is that when I race my bro on his Yamaha Grizzly 660. While I have the faster top speed, he out accelerates me. When I ride his, the clutch does seem to come in much faster than mine. This may be a trade off; but when we are sitting in a mud hole having a faster top speed doesn't seem all that important.

Call Rick Ritter and get a Dalton DBW700 kit. It works great. Tell him Jeff in Ky told you about him.
