I've been though this also, not with the current spouse, although she's pretty good about letting me have my own fun toys. All I have to do is threaten to get another drag racing car and she gives in...
The mods that I've done to the 400 is a drop in the bucket compared to the money spent to accelerate 3800lb with a big block...

 

any woman who would be jealous of the time you spent with your four wheeler is just to insecure to bother with.. she will anyways have issues with anything you enjoy.. when they give you a choice always take the bike... you will be happier in the long run..

 

If you've chosen (been lucky enough to find) the right woman, the other doesn't matter. If that's all it takes, it'll be something else down the road.

 

Guess I have best of both worlds my honey loves to Quad as much as I do and goes with me all the time.Many times it's her than has the idea to go.No decissions to make here,only where and when we can ride,I truely am very lucky.CM

I am married to the hottest woman I have ever seen. BUT, she is my woman and she understands the chain of command at my house. I run most everything and that is the way it was meant to be.

This is how we break it down at my house.

She runs her mouth, vacume cleaner, dishwasher, washer/dryer, buggy at the grocery store, diaper changing, snot wiping, etc...

Pretty much everything that does not fall in that general category does not concern her.

A good woman is a humble woman!

Food for thought. You can ride your gf for 5 to 15 minutes throw her a towel and the fun is over, and the mouth starts runn'n. You can ride your quad all day long have fun and never hear a word, unless its one of your rid'n buddies dis'n u. In reality though if it's got **** or tires sooner or later your gonna have trouble.
