I need a pilot jet smaller than a 35 for my carb. It runs way to rich at idle and I cant seem to find a smaller pilot jet for the carb. Bubba, Modquad or any one have some suggestions. Maybe bigger needle. I have the clip all the way up and air srew open but if I let idle for short period it will die. It is very hard to start afterwards unless I let it sit for a bit. It gets worse when hot out. I need to lean it out somehow. I did not have this problem when it was cold out but now it is becomming a pain in the a$$!

Your float is not too high is it? A 35 pilot doesnt sound too rich, especially for a modded setup with a 36mm carb. Also, is it a used carb or a new one you bought? If it's a used one then the needle jet may need to be replaced. The clip shouldnt be all the way up. Usually if everything else is right then the clip ends up at or near factory settings.

Not sure if the float is too high. The carb was bought new. It seems to run really rich at idle and sputters a little off idle. Top end is good and plug color is a little dark on the top but black at idle up to about 1/4 throttle. Not sure if they make a bigger needle but have not seen a smaller pilot either. It has left me sitting for 20 min at a time before it would start again and I even have to take the airbox lid off for it to start.

Hmmmmmmmmmm You bought it last fall when the weather was cooler and now that it has warmed up it is getting worse. I would definitely check the float level first. Also check the choke for proper seating and operation. It wouldnt take but a tiny bit to make for a very rich idle. Make sure there is nothing obstructing the air entry into the bell of the carb. That's where the air bleed for the mixture screw gets it's incoming air and needs to be free. I know that might sound silly, but you could have a piece of trash caught in there or something freaky going on. I'll have to check on the pilot sizes for the PWK. I know you can get a lot smaller for the Mikunis, but from experience a 35 should be in the ball game. ONE WORD OF CAUTION: Keep in mind that if you find a problem to fix on the very rich bottom end, keep a close eye on the 1/2 on up throttle readings afterwards.
