Replaced the right hand axle hub bearing. Still clicks in reverse. Sound is coming from the right rear hub. The driveshaft doesn't apprear to be missing a beat. I don't (at this point) think it is the rear end. Going to try cleaning the left hand side up (noise transfer???). Also going to check the U-Joints on the drive train.

 

A fella I ride with had a similar problem, turned out to be the rear sway bar. In paticular check the 7/16 or 1/2 bolts where the verticle links connect to the horzontal bar.

Off Topic Golf Carts slow? Got a buddy who put a 300 Yahama snow mobile engine on a golf cart. Sounds wicked as heck and runs like a scalded dog. Gets plenty of looks at the various mud bog races, swap meets etc. he takes it to to cruse the pits. A real conversation piece.

 

I got the same noise in reverse and can't track it down. Had someone walk along side while I backed up and still can't find out what it is! Anyone heard of any other recalls or insidences of this clicking problem?

 

Read the post by Hathcockm. I have a friends SP335 in my shop with the same problem and we solved it by tightening up the sway bar the Hathcockm is talking about.
