Oil Shooting Outta My Vent Hose on Pred!!
When I change my oil as I refill it I fill it till I get to the "full" mark on the stick. Then I start it up, let it run for a minute, then turn it off and mearsure it again. Fill till the full mark, start it again, then turn it off again and measure. I do this procedure till after I turn off the motor it shows full. If your just dumping in two quarts and not measuring it on the stick as you go you could very well be overfilling it. Remember when you change the oil its impossible to get ALL the oil out of the system. The oil amounts in the book are listed with a completely bone dry tranny. With prior oil left in the transmission its obviously not going to take as much to fill it up again..... I'm not sure if this philosopy holds water or not, but it makes sense to me.

And of course there is the possibility that your getting compression blow-by, but I like being optomistic and ruling out all other possibilities first.

My bet is that you've just over-filled it with oil..............I've done it and its real easy to do............

Start your motor, let it idle a minute, quickly check your dipstick level, and I bet you're over the top line.
