500 timing vs 500 H.O.

Default 500 timing vs 500 H.O.

Is there any difference in the timing or cdi boxes for the difference 500's

The H.O.'s timing is 30* BTDC @ 3500 RPM +- 1.5*. Dont know about the non H.O. though.

Got a question for you though, how does that Predator carb work on there?

works great it is a 42mm and fits stock h.o. boot a few mod with hoses

Big power increase from it? Been considering putting one (or one from a DS) on my scram, but could find anyone that tried it. Did you have to rejet it? Does the stock throttle cable work?

i'm also interested in this mod tell me more does the stock throttle cable bolt up also the choke cable and does the carb throats fit into the intake and airbox boots
