My Dealer, Pinetown Sports just got a 2001 500 H.O. in today! Its yellow and not out of the crate yet, tommorrow I'll get a good look at it. From what I saw the calipers appear to be the same so pad and line upgrades should be easy. The word on the 700 is late this year or January next year according to sources in Osseola Wis plant.

One question....Why come out with a high-output 500 when they are talking about a 700?????

Whats the point? They pretty much aim for the same buyer market...

Price is to stay the same! The 500 H.O.'s are just a 20% hp gain like we have all been asking for. Should be more than enough to stomp a few grizzlies and rubicons out there.

I don't know about anyone else but the only 700 twin rumors I have heard about is on this forum, but you never know. I have heard the rumors from some more relaible sources about a 650 single, but just that, rumors. My personal opinion: I really am not interested in a 700 twin, seems a little over kill. But who knows they may be nucular powered in a couple of years.
