Improved brakes as other machines.
E-Z steer modifacations.
Don't ask about colors cause thats all that is mentioned.

Daboss:
See no reason why you can't adapt the new style master cylinder and brake lines. Have to check out prices when the new parts CD comes out on the 2001's

Do you think the magnum 500 will get the h.o. engine? It shares the same engine as the sportsman now. Or mabe they just want something to sellthe SP with against the Ruby.

Put me down for a 500 Magnum H.O. Did the 2001 Sportsman lose any weight? Or is it still 700 pounds dry? A H.O. Sportsman with about a 50 pound reduction would sure be nice.

I have a 2000 Scarmbler with about 300 miles on it and have toasted 2 belts, took em' to the dealer and he just handed me new ones each time, no questions askd.
The Polaris improvments are too little too late, I ordered my Raptor, if they improve the Sportsman and trim about 100 lb off it, maybe I will be back in 2001-2002.
See Ya Drew

With the H.O. engine the SP500 will now beat the Grizzly in every catagorey. IT will smoke it in a race now. They are pretty close right now. But with the 40mm carb. and differnet cam, it will be a smoking. And finially i can beat the 300ex. I really would tie with him right now.

Just visited a Polaris dealer in Red Dear Alberta on my way home from vac, he said the same thing, 20% more power. Must be true. Wish I could afford a new one.
Oh well dreams are free.
