for the curious!!!
reeds are a valve on the intake port of a 2-stroke (if so equiped) that act as a one way valve. when the fuel/air mixture enters it opens up the reeds. by having them there it eliminates the fuel/air from going back up to the carb, leaving more of it in the combution chamber, making a bigger boom! good luck on the super blazer! i would go with the yellow plastic with a blue (painted) nose piece from a 400 scrambler and a blue seat cover, but that is my personal opinion!
