Well, I'm one of those people that like to upgrade one thing at a time.........and I'm getting ready to invest in my scrammy again..........I just don't know what to invest in right yet...........I'm either thinking about a hpd chain tensioner with didxring chain...or a new swingarm guard.......I would like to get a new clutch kit but I'm trying to keep this investment around a hundred bucks or less for now..........if you think of any other ideas...let me know!!! my profile lists whats on her right now.

 

I would highly recommend the chain tensioner.

If you can do it yourself or there is a tool and die shop near you, lightening the flywheel give a great performance enhancment.

 

Have you changed clutch springs yet?If not do that before anything.Polaris white or green primary and set your stock secondary to 2-2 or get HPD violet set at 2-2.You can get both these springs and a HPD chain tensiner for around $100

 

Ya, brad~I'm thinking about going that route....I want to get the tensioner before next week and then possibly change my springs out...because I need to get a new belt on her also so I mise as well change the springs......I won't need new weights or helix or anything will I...and the clutch spring mod wont hurt top end will it?

 

What you gain in getting to the top will out weigh what little you may loose.
