Default SELL me on the sportsman 700 twin EFI

I love mine but I agree with the comment on the Badlands. They are great for in the yard and ice, but not too great in the snow. I don't want to get real aggressive tires though because it is in the yard so much. Got to b!tch about something. LOL

Another point is if any quad was 70 miles out in the wilderness it wouldn't matter if it broke down or not....you couldn't make it back on gas.

I hope I get a chance to run my King Quad against my 700 EFI before they go into winter storage. I'll post the results if I do.

If you are just going to drag race I can tell you the results right now, having never even seen a kq...

kq wins...

The polaris is a great machine, just not all that fast. That doesnt make it any less of a machine, but if that is the kind of thing that matters to you, then you may want to pay attention to what machines have get up and go and what machines like to crawl around.

I suspected the 700 EFI wouldnt win. But the KQ is mainly for my wife and for me when I am just out playing with my son, who will be using the 700 efi. Its fun to be able to have both and find out which does what best.

I have a KQ and I tried a SP700EFI and to me they both felt very even in speed and acceleration. Considering the SP weighs 160lbs more shows the SP has some power. I feel if you put the same tires on both, the SP700EFI would win.

I've watched 700efi's get dusted by prairies and grizzlys in all kinds of terrain from sand hill climbs to flat out drags. I was under the impression that the kq was faster than that... that it would at least beat the grizz and run with a few prairies/tps.

I havent gotten on one yet, hopefully later this month. First hand knowledge and experience is always much better for me anyway.

I havn't raced a Kawi on mine yet, but I know for a fact the 700EFI will take a Grizzly raced two different ones both stock. Mine was stock other than the Rawhide tires.

I can see the Prairie winning but not the Grizz. Even DW Mag said the 700EFI was faster then the Grizz and they don't hold any punches when it comes to Polaris. Like I said, you put the same tires and wheels on both, the weight difference would be about 100lbs and I feel the SP700EFI would win. IMHO
