SELL me on the sportsman 700 twin EFI
Now to get back to the realy question..ahahah..even though the fighting was pretty funny...ahhahah i guess the ole saying is true..there is always one bad apple in the bunch ahahhaha
anyway..i have had my 700 efi for 1 month now have got 300 miles on it....and they arent the easiest miles....either...anything from mud to water to a mix of both at the same time....been in water up over the front rack mud up to the fenders...rocks, hills ,,,swamps....and not to mention working it hard on the farm....any where from mowing...to pulling hay wagons....to moving equipment....i have deffinatly exceeded the towing the limit....and it has always preformed flawlessly....and has all the power in the world.....
they only thing(s) i dont like...is the badland tires...there great for mowing and normal riding...but other then that...not the best.....and it does make some clunking noise in the drive train....but they all do it......o well......right?? ahahh....and one thing that is i believe is very important.....THERE ARE HARDLY ANY GREASE ZERKS.....a whoping 3 i believe....from the older sportsman which had like 20 some......it upsets me.....because i was always taught...if it has a zerk theres no such thing as to much grease...plus after every water ride......i always liked greaseing the whole machine to get all the moisture out of the u-joints and pivot points......i just think its a bad design on polaris end.....but thats and easy fix ...when they start squeeking i guess ill just put my own in.......
well i hope that helps.....
BTW....ratty should just get his facts straight before spouting off......ahahha i couldnt resist....everyone else was doing it..ahahah
Later all

SELL me on the sportsman 700 twin EFI
proXpilot,
i bought one of the very first EFIs.
i have bought many wheelers in my lifetime and w/o a doubt, this one has been the BEST! the ease of starting, BIG power at all speeds, fuel economy, and reliability is TOP-NOTCH.
the EFI has made a very good name for itself and complements the Sportsman heritage nicely.
i'd like to see an EFI in Mossy-Oak someday. i find the Black/Silver to show the scratches.
in all, the EFI has raised the bar in the ATV utility industry. i think Polaris's inovation forces the competition to try and keep up.
no regrets.
