how do u move it a space up????

 

by removing the needle and moving the e-clip one slot closer to the pointy end

 

say whatt????? thing is do i have to remove the whole thing?? because i dont even know what slot its at now. and i can seem to remove the cable?? how do u do that?

 

The top of your carb where the cable goes in will screw off.

Pull your slide assembly out

The needle is held by into the slide with an E-clip

You can move that clip to different posisions on the needle to raise and/or lower the amount of needle that is in/out of the main jet.

 

alright i got one part down. im just having trouble getting the cable off. do u push it down into the open part and it will release??

Part 1 screws off.

2,3,4,5,6 will also come out

#3 holds the cable.


You adjust part #30(clip) on #4(needle) up or down in the slots on 4
Lowering the clip on the needle raises the needle
Raising the clip loweres the needle.

 

alright i got it all apart and now how do u get the eclip off??

 

You can use a small screw driver to pop it off, put a shop rag over top and bottom so you don't lose it.
It should pop off easy.
push on by hand

 

so by moving the eclip up one notch it will lean out the midrange???
