i was just wondering how much hpd's aluminum frames for the scrambler/sport/trailblazer cost. one fun project i just tought of would be get the engine and drive system from an xplorer 4x4 and make a 250 scrambler! what are your thoughts on that?

it costs $12000 bucks for a new frame? $1200 sounds a little more realistic.

This isn't a stock replacement frame. This a custom racing frame. And since they are pretty much the only people offering it right now, they can charge people that much.

I think you would be better off using the Scrambler 400 motor & drivetrain. But the new chassis doesn't work with the 4x4 setup.

well i guess i better start saving my money! would the xplorer 250 moter bolt onto a scrambler frame? i wasnt thinking about doing this, i am on very limited funds, but was just wondering. i know that the scrambler parts are all interchangable between them and the tb's.
