POlaris is still giving people a very hard time over the 700 rod bearings, and is listed on the minnesota better business bureaous site for many complaints and failure to act on those complaints, and its is suggested " not to do business with them".
It seems that If you have problems, and your dealer will come to bat for you, then your in decent shape, but if you have a lazy dealer, your crap out of luck, contacting Polaris directly is a waste of time many of us have found out.
The dealer I bought from turned out to be simply IGNORANT, so I now drive an hour out of my way to a dealer I feel comftorable with and knows his stuff. I think its simply to easy for anyone to just go get a polaris franchise and start selling, without truly knowing the product, cause im telling you, in my experience, some of these polaris dealers shouldnt be putting together a sandwich.

Just remember its not always Polaris that is standing behind it. A lot of it has to do with your dealer. Polaris themselves aren't any better than anyone else (usually worse in my eyes). But if you have a dealer that is willing to step up to the plate it makes all the difference in the world.
