no it dont... i raced a yfz on tar when i had my pred.... i got smoked. the pred hauls wheelies off the start just as much as any other quad... and once they both are done.. the yfz flies.

 

well i raced on tar on a quarter mile track just for fun once i got the take off just right i ended up with a 60 foot of 1.8sec. and a quarter mile in just 14.6 i never got to line up with the banchee that was their but he ran 14.9 battleing them weelies and i only had the front end popping up about 1 foot maby u didnt have the shock turned all the way up that would be the problem and the yfz got 36rwh preds come stock 42rwh put on a pipe and u are lookin at close to 50hp that is dynoed on one of the many tests done

 

pred doesnt have 42 stock... its more like 37... and a pipe wont get you near 50... as the most 43-44.
and banshees are no problem for a predator... i use to smoke my buddies all the time.

im serious!!!! i beat them all the time when i was stock... they even had pipes... we were on dirt so traction was an issue for them but still... they use to get pissed... it was funny.

 

now i know u never did any serious reading they have been dynoing them since03 maby yours had only 37hp u probley got a demo and u thought it was brand new when it really had the gutts beat out of it

 

show me all the dynos that say 42 HP... bet you cant find many... if any for that matter.

ok everyone says that the wieght difference between a rap and pred is minimal when both are weighed with all fluids. It has been established that the average raptor makes 36-37 hp so why is a race between a pred and a rap a tie if the predator makes 6-7 more hp than the raptor like you says it does?

 

HP dont matter in a drag... its all in how the power hits the ground...

 

so what the pred tranny is inneficient?
