If you were riding a piped 450 you would get to the first corner faster than you do on your pred rider skill plays a huge part in getting the holeshot.

 

All the riders i race against are all good. I race against those 450s quite a bit and they cant run with our preds. Some are actually thinking about going to preds. you obviously havent seen some of doug nicholas's work with our preds and his own preds. if u have u would understand.

 

thats possible, I've seen many preds quite a few with different pipes and such and have yet to see a fast one. I hope I do get a chance to see one thats not slow but until I do i base my opinions on my personal experiences only.

as much as i hate the polaris name i just couldnt turn down the pred it out handled every other top sport quad out their and pulled better then them also so hands down i had to get it but that my prefrence

 

I usually stay out of these bicker fests, but have one thing to say. Do all of you Predator/Polaris owners spend as much time on the Yamaha forums as they do here?

I've never went to the Yamaha section since I don't own one (and don't plan on it).

Head, how was the race in Marne?? Hey I was thinking about that spring/shock set up that you guys run. I think it is HPD?? I seen it on Matts when I was down there, and also on some other guy's who runs the harescrambles. How much is a set?? Are they better?? Also what do you prefer for aftermarket handlebars??(if you have some that is) Thanks Head.

 

head027 - a piped and jetted pred will not walk away from any 450... i am sorry... it wont happen... i dont care who you race for or with.... the people you are racing just simply arent as good as you... because if equal riders are on each.. the 450 will win, bottom line.

predatorrr - the pred does handle very well... better han my yfz IMO... but it doesnt pull has hard.

and everyone knows i like my 450 better... but trust me... i dont hate my pred... both are great quads... just the 450 suits me better than my pred did.

and btw dont argue will my post head027, i dont feel like rambling on about whats faster... but its a simple proven fact... every knows what i just said was true... sorry...

 

not to get u goin but did you see the hp on bolth on the pavement the yfz wouldnt be closeit would be battleing pop ups while the pred stays on the ground and takes the hole shot for a joke
