hey bog if u r looking for a atv that u can trust when going through deep water and mud then get the sp500 and if want a atv for work play or [green]hunting[/green] then get the sp500 [green]Remington special edition[/green] very nice looking and great for hunting oh and if u do buy a polaris 2000 model sportsman dont forget to tell them to mount u r free warn winch 2000lb.

Do not overlook the fact that the 500 High-output is out now. It has vast improvements over the "old" SP500. Don't get me wrong the SP500 is amazing but the newer version is even better.

Just my opinion.

go for the 2001 HO SP it has allot of upgrades, and would be worth the price, yeah i can get 2000 SP's for 5999, but i would pay the 6999 for a HO 2001 way before i bought a 2000.

Here I go.... I will be picking up my new "00 sp500 w/winch tomorrow! I'll let you know how it holds up for me during the upcoming hunting season. It has rained so much here this summer I know it is going to be nasty out there. This only gives me 2 weekends to break it in beforehand, but, that should be plenty of time to make sure things check out alright.
