Are the factory wheels on a '98-'99 Scrambler 4x4 aluminum or steel?

I have a '99 Scrambler and mine came off the showroom floor with aluminum wheels.

I have seen the aluminum wheels on the 500, every 400 I've seen had steel wheels.

I have a 99 400 4x4 and the wheels are white aluminum. They bend really easy also. I am considering going with Douglas or ITP .190s.

Budzinsk, yeah mine are painted white as well but they are most definitely aluminum. Mine are so bent they don't even look like they should even roll straight but they still do. I have had to hammer them back into shape to hold air but at least they can't rust even though I have chipped half of the paint off. It seems stupid to paint aluminum wheels they would look better if Polaris would leave them plain.
