If you don't like the stock TLD plastic you can change it, IMO color shouldn't be an issue the TLD offerers alot... get the TLD model get new plastic ASAP, then sell the stock plastic on ebay you will probably get a good buck for it.. Then you will have the quad with all the extras stock you can handel and it will be in the color you want AND by selling the stock plastic it should pay for or come close to paying for your new plastic..

 

I would either sell it, or keep it until you are ready to trade for a new one and then put it back on. Then you don't have to worry about scratching the plastic, because you know you have a good set. I would think if you wanted to sell it, a good dealer would just trade you strait arcoss. But you may also want to go with something like a set of fullbore plastic too.

 

I thought about the plastic change also but the seat cover, hubs, springs are also orange so it's more involved than just fenders. I think with the extra's the TLD has it's a good value so I plan on getting one next spring to add to the fleet unless Honda miraculously spits out a 650R, I may have to reconsider then, but what are the odds of that????

 

Remember the later you get it, the more mad you will be when the '06's come out and you don't have one of those upgraded puppies. Get it quick and get to ridding.

 

Well the reality of it is they probably won't be out till my quad season is over, I'm guessing November. I don't want to use up the warranty in the winter when I'm not riding. I found out today my dealer ordered a red Sportsman 700 EFI for me at the show. I told him when I picked up my 04 Pred to keep an eye out for a red Sportsman EFI so I guess I'll have two # 8's in the fleet.

No limit on the toy #'s for me, if 06 is good I'll be there......

 

Yeah the '06 Predators will probably be fuel injected. I'll probably wait until January to buy, to see how much my dealer will come off the price cause I'll bet at first dealers won't come off too much on the price. Has anyone got an extended warranty that has used it and are glad they bought it? I know I wish I would have on my Scram.
