won't start up properly
I have a 2004 polaris 330 magnum. It doesnt want to start well. hot or cold it wont start properly. It just grinds some and may eventually start. Runs good after starting. Also does it with fresh gas. I'm thinking maybe spark plug may need replaced. Its got 400 miles on it. Also curious about engine braking. This one doesnt have much or any. Is there anything that can be done to help this out. It needs to be safer. Thanks

it tries to start but i dont grind it long, then i will try it again and it will start. like a vehicle when its out of gas. i got me a spark plug today. going to try that first. i will also check and clean the air filter. after that i will not know what to try. i've had it since february and it has been in the shop 5 times because it would quit while riding and then backfire. it would do it while starting to come to a stop. had it back about 3 days and it hasnt done it yet.keeping my fingers crossed.

ya i think its the starter...our 400 did that it would grind for 5 seconds when ur trying to start it then u would stop wiat a sec then do it again and it would go grind gridn grind then start right up. and wen its warm it just makes the gridn noise like once and starts
