I'm with the Daveman. I'll pop it in 4wd to get through the small ammount of snow and up a few loose dirt road hills, but I'm not taking a $30,000 pickup into the mudpits and tight wooded trails. Thats what the atv is for. I could buy another 4wheeler for the money I could blow on truck repairs.

Now there is always that option of buying an 82 toyota to go tear up!

Thanks for all the replies. It just seems that I see a lot more stock trucks with ATV's in or behind them these days. Back in the eighties, you would see lifted trucks with big tires instead. I honestly don't know if that is as popular anymore. I got tired of blowing transmissions, u-joints, wearing out tires, scratches, etc. I will still continue to have 4x4's, but mainly for geting around in the snow. I think my Polaris will serve me better off the road.
