sportsman for rocks and logs???
Well said. My friend on his Grizzly 660 didn't understand the system. I showed him on ice. It happens so quick, that you don't even notice. There might be a tenth of a second, maybe, delay for the front tires. He couldn't even tell that the rears spun first. BTW, I go through mud holes and stuff that he gets stuck in. The Polaris system does work very well.

I bought my Sportsman specifically for nasty boulder strews trails like the Rubicon Jeep Trail. It's awesome. Check out the first picture on my photo page. That's my wife in the rocks. My Prairie would be high-centered in that spot. Also, on my Priarie, I have to anticipate the need for four wheel drive, and engage it early, otherwise I may be out of luck when I get to the nasty spot. Not so on the Sportsman. Just set and forget.
Another thing a newer Sportsman has that many other quads don't is very light steering when the 4X4 engages. The steering leverage on the Sportsman also helps avoid some excessive kickback when you hit an obstacle in the trail.
