ATTENTION SPORTSMAN 400 OWNERS!!!!!

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]If you own a 2004 or 2004.5 sportsman 400 check your fuel filter ..We have three and all of them are rubbing the carburator..Mine rubbed two holes in filter while on a long ride..Luckly the gas line was long enough to eliminate the filter until i got back to our lodge..The other two were almost rubbed through when we relocated the gas line..I have contacted Polaris abot the problem...

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]REMOVE THE SEAT...LOOK AT THE CARB..THE FUEL FILTER IS RED AND WHITE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CARB..CUT THE ZIP TIE AND MOVE THE FILTER AWAY FROM THE CARB...THERE IS ENOUGH GAS LINE TO REROUTE IT AWAY FROM THE CARB...
