Default 800 Sportsman EFI Anyone got one

I looked through a few pages and couldnt find anything. Anyone got one and comparied it to anything like the Prairie or Brute Force. I like the looks of the new '05s. I saw a new 700EFI at Cabela's the other day but no 800 yet. Thanks.

I Bought a 800 2 weeks ago , I traded my Prairie 650 in for it. The power is great on this machine. The power between the prairie and the 800 are pretty comparable i feel. I really haven't put the machine in any test yet as i just bought the thing. The gas mileage is pretty bad though. I haven't gotten over 35 miles for a tank a gas yet. So far i have been pretty inpressed about the whole bike. I can't wait to take in the mud next summer when the snow goes away.

All i have to say is hold on to the handle bars cause the front wheels are coming off the ground.

i know people will pound me on this and stuff, but its the facts, and im not being loyal to my brand, but the 800 EFI will beat a bruteforce in a drag, the brute is a little tipsy too on the suspention, alot of magazines have said so too, the suspention on the 800 seems stiffer then the suspention on the 700, maybe because of the bigger engine or maybe its just me, but i think the many many goods of the 800 out weigh its few bads by alot, and i think its a overall better quad then the BF even if it is a little sluggish with the handling

i gotta agree that the 800 is alittle bit stiffer but it has a damn good ride. I have a ? the air filter. Does the K & N air filter make any difference on the 800? I notice that the bike sounds like it is looking for air on the take off.

I really like how the winch mounts on the bike. Its not sticking out but you can still get at it.

yeah the bike really wants air all the time, but the K&Ns are 'highflow' filters since there not made of paper like the stock Polaris ones, so air flows alot more freely, its a noticeable difference, not much, but its there and it does make popping wheelies easyer and a little more low grunt. the 700 filter fits on the 800, if you got one, id deffenetly get the precharger just because it'll grab more without takeing any intake power away.

Exact same suspension on the 800 as the 700 for 2005. Same part numbers, etc. Same weight too....
