Hey NBsportsman it is allways nice to see fellow New Brunswickers on the forums. I tried to extend and reroute my stock vent line but it did not work. I drilled out my gas cap and ran rubber tubing to a hole I drilled in the handlebar assembly. Where are you from in N.B..Hawkins has vented caps that will fit on your sportsman. They were on order when I was there three weeks ago so they should be in now.

Hi. NBsportsman. As long as it is not spitting gas out at you it should be fine. You must have lost of good riding areas up there in Campbellton. It would be nice to see the province put more effort into developing a provincial atv trail network. They raised the registration fees and made insurance mandatory so that money should go to trail development.

Yeh I hear you Pinkmoon. I've been snowmobiling for over 25 years, was there in the early days when we started a club and then when all the clubs in the province formed the federation I was involved with trail developement. This is my first quad so right away I joined the club. Well I don't know what it is like in the south but that first meeting I went too reminded me of where the snowmobile club was 20 years ago. A lot of work has to be done to bring 4 wheeling to where snowmobiling is today up here as there is really no trail system to talk about. The great thing about biking is you don't have to rely on signed groomed trails, just slap on the GPS and go. My buddy and I are heading out on a 180km run tomorrow to just east of Mount Carleton Park. Great country up in there.........
