I have found a mint condition Polaris Sportsman 500. Its a 1997 but this is a very, very well kept atv it has 400 miles and ths tires still have the **** on the sides. The guy bought ti for hunting and then decided to quit and has it serviced regularly to keep the battery up and keep the neccesary maintanance up on it. I know alot of people think well if you like it, it is worth the money but what I really what to know is the a 97 atv worth that much money.
Thanks for any advice.........

Thanks for you input. I think that we are going to buy it. The only problem is that we live in Chattanooga Tennessee and it is a hard decision to buy a 97 for 3000 considering we can get a brand new Polaris so cheap at the Polaris dealership here in Chattanooga. He sell brand new atvs like 800 to 1000 dollars cheaper than any where else.

mudmaster250 - I would love to spend the extrsa money and get a brand new one with all the updates and stuff but I just had twin girls and I think I should just go the cheaper route. Thanks for you helpful insight though. If I buy it I will post pictures of it tomorrow in my gallery so I wll let you guys know.
Whitewater - Yeah we did talk him down from 3300 to 3000. Blubook is 2490 Trade-In and 3365 for retail. So it seems to be on the mid side of retail. Thanks for your help.
