Default HMF Ride Report!

Got the HMF full system installed and jetted pretty close(still needs a few adjustments).

If someone would have told me that this system would make THAT big of a difference i would have told them they were full of ****.

From bottom to top it pulls harder then most every piped ATV i have ever been on. Before wheelies in 4th gear required me to stand up and pull on the bars a little, now all i have to do is flick the throttle and the nose 12 o clock high. I just cant get over the power,,,,, here is anther thing i noticed, the road i live on is maybe a 1/4 mile long. Before i could run through the gears but still be accelerating with the exhaust jetted and air box mods i'm toping out and having a very hard time stopping before i run out of road. Before i never heard a peep out of the rev limiter now i can hit it in every gear not even trying it revs that quick.

The looks, outstanding power gain and weight savings are WELL worth the money, i can't see there being anther pipe better then this one, after you ride it you can't believe just a few simple mods make that BIG of a difference.

I put up some photos should be approved soon. my camera makes it look a odd silver color its really black(i'll take some good day photos this weekend.

Anyone looking for a VERY light, powerful and high quality predator exhaust HMF has it.

BTW yes its Extremely loud! put in the quiet core and its just a tad louder then stock, so if a sparky and keeping the sound levels down is a must you can still do it with this system.

Thanks to all for the jetting help

TR

sure did, i like it. It brings down the DB level without much if any power loss.

hello, ya ever since i started looking for pipes for a predator, i hope to own the new '05 pred before too long, hmf has been my w/o a doubt choice, but does the quiet core take much poer away, vrs. the noise u save, i'd like to keep it quiet, & so long as i get a lot of power, i'm not afriad to loose a lil more to after gaining a lot, anyway pls. let me know & also how about the header, i hear the pred. has a great header anyway, thanx

IMO the HMF header is better, its coated, bigger and lighter. You can see it in my photos i put up under my page.

The quiet core was $20 it does help, its still loud (something around 94-96db, not that bad though) it sounds like a WB pipe with the quiet core installed. I didn't feel any power loss with the quiet core installed, it seemed to run just as good.

The throttle response will blow you away with this exhaust, i'm going to take a small video of the pred in action monday. I will post the video so you guys have have a look.
