Hey I was wondering if a different brand of CDI boxes would be better than the next. I found one from majicracing.com for 100 bux from SRP Metals. Is another brand going to be any different?

 

You probably get what you pay for when it comes to cdi's.....personally, I would go with HPD's, or in my opinion, the best out there....is Doug's Nicholas's cdi.....he has one for performance engines(nos and stuff) 400 dollars, and one for 1000rpm raised and performance too for 140dollars.... How can CDI boxes perform different? I'm on a tight budget so

 

I'm not for sure, but some of them increase the rpm's at different ranges.....they have about 10 settings of power curves.....and some also raise the rev limit at different rates too.
