Default shims

when a belt gets old and loose do u need to pull out a shim? if u put in a new belt on do u put that shim back in. what happens when u run out of shims. just wondering because my has a lot of play in it . the same belt has been in for about 5 months .thanks

I have never had to do anything with the shims. But, you have to have at least 1 shim behind the clutch

harder 2 get it on two wheels. will a new belt make it tighter? what happens when u run out of shims. i got all of mine still in there.

shim is a big wahser but thin. belt only 5 months old shouldnt be bad unless you burnt it.
