Default race lightened flywheel

i run the HPD race flywheel since day one as well as i started to put mods on it,,,sweet easy pull rop starting.make best throttle response,
it is 2,3 lbs lighter from what they done.for tight trail situations it can be harder for beginner rider with the need to rev-up more the motor through to get as much torque, but the even snappier feel it give worth
the extra $ on a race mods setup.

i ride in very few tight trails. jsut places that u need to get your RPMS up quick so u can make it up stuff or through it. and lots of stop and accelerate riding. sounds like this is the set up i need.

So are you saying that this will cause a loss in torque?? I have heard this works wonders when duning and was thinking about shipping mine off. But a loss in torque, that kinda sounds like a trade-off.
Torque 4 faster rev.

it will not actually loss torque, but make the same torque at higher rpm
in the powerband, that torque will not be available in the low end grunt anymore with such a lightening, the peak torque will be in the higher r's for sure.

I understand. That is why it is good for duning. Thanks for clarifying that.

Now that you brought up the weight thing. I think that the Polaris claims on the TBs
weight is off. I just weighed my bike with a 440 lb hanging scale and with all the stuff
that I have removed it weighs 420 lbs with just 1/8 tank of gas. Polaris claims that a
99 TB 250s dry weight is 440 lbs and I know that I have remove 50 pounds of stuff.
The scale is correct so I figure that my TB was really about 470 lbs. Has anybody
else came to this conclusion?
hmmmm from what ive seen peopel have trailblazers that are 255!!! that is light!!! i dont no how they do it but its light from 440 claim. i wana get mine weighed somehow soon after i do a lil more mods
