Has anyone done this? what and how much work would be involved in this? Also do you still use the same oil and what ratio would you use in you fuel?
Thanks

its a very quick and easy job. I mixed at 40:1 with polaris blue injector oil for quite some time with no problems.

I would plan on an hour job sometimes the oil pump housing bolts are a pain to get out after that it is easy. I also mix at 40:1 with polaris blue and havent had any probs.

Its more of a weight thing, and a less hassle thing too(usually do it when your 100 dollar throttle cable breaks).......

well thats what I was thinking was trhe weight reduction would help all around much like a car for autocrossing or drag racing. scramblers are also pretty heavy. to begin with and I removed my floor boards which didn't seem to do much in the ways of weight.

Remove your starter, and cut your plastic, get aluminum rims, that will drop some weight.....

i have removed my injection, starter, battery, floorboards, cut plastic, bumper, airbox, skidplates, radiator fan, lighter pipe, lighter tires and rims. It made a very noticeable difference.
