Default 04 Trailblazer Chain Tensioner Problems

It's an 04 TB so it's a concentric drive, and the instructions with the tensioner say that it should be mounted on the outside of the swingarm just behind the swingarm crossmember. Keep running into the same problem with the grease fitting.

Just move it up an inch or two (in front of the swingarm crossmember) towards the front and it should clear by about 3/4". mine is close but don't touch and the chain is still fairly centered on the nylon roller.

you must remove the stock cr$ppy unit, then cut off the metal wich
was to hold it on the swingarm, make hole to fit the tensioner and
screw it in place where the roller chain will not hit the front mounts.
