I'm going to be doing alot of mods to my pred real soon. Here is what I'm going to do.
The head is ported/polished/benchflow tested with ti springs/valves.
Going with the HPD 558 kit-with HPD vortec CDI
Lightend flywheel
New clutch plates/basket.
I already have a CFM airbox

What I what to know is what Carb to use???
Mod the stock or edlebrock or something other to finish this mother.

 

i use the stock carb and tuned right it works great. but from what i have been told and my own personal choice would be a lectron 44 or 48. probly the 48! try to tune yours first before you blow 450-550$ on a carb that might only get you 5 hp at best. JMO

 

stock carb is junk as is the edelbrock... go FCR!

 

Any documented gains from the flow bench testing?

how many CFM at what valve lift?

That'd be GREAT if you posted the data.

I'm real curious as to where the flow is gained on intake and exhaust ports.

I don't have the specs yet and My sponcor and I are still working the cams from webcams.I will get all the info as soon as I know . This project is still getting set up.
The head work is the only thing I have so far and I"ll try to get the flow tech/specs up for all to see as soon as get it.
