subject sums it up, I'm thinking of putting some black waters this size on some 8x8inch rims.

I have a set of 20-11-8 on 8x8's now but want to be sure its ok with a 12 inch tire.

 

I don't see why not.... It might V alitte more on the rim, but it will work. You may just have to run alittle more air pressure.

 

I don't ever change my air pressure around and tend to run max pressure. I was just worried about blowing a bead coming off a jump or something.

 

are 8x8 rims a good choice all together?? just wondering for me

 

well probable not, however I have a set I can use that just happen to be back spaced perfectly great condition. I figured it was worth using as I boght my scrammy used and the stock rims are dinged and moderatly bent some places.

 

so u dont think 8x8 rims are good? i would prob put kenda klaws xcr 20x11x8 on them

 

 

I don'tthink 8x8 rims are bad. I think 10x8's are better as are say a 9x9 or 9x8.

but I got both rims for under 20 bucks and I've used the same model rim with 20x11x8 carlisle turf holeshot style tires.
