i see you are getting an 05 tld....and i can see your point of view wanting to defend it, but no opinion, no matter how strong is going to change a fact!

im right on the edge of buying one myself, so its not like im anti-predator, but i do know what the reality of a drag with equal riders is....

and i dont buy a quad just because it can SMOKE everything else... (if i did, i wouldnt be posting in this forum now would i?)

speed dosnt make a quad "better" its the combination of all aspects that may or may not suit each buyer. im sure there are people out there that bought the yfz JUST for the power...but for the rest of us its a combination of the many other apects...ride quality, suspension, ergo's and the list goes on. It does NOT suit me, i just use it for a reference because around here it is basically a benchmark in performance.

have you gotten yours in yet? a couple dealers told me they "wernt out yet" i found that odd because two of them that i called had gotten a few of them in...lol

i think the predator is going to suit me better for all around use and comfort. we'll have to see how cheaply i could get the 450r, as i would def at least have to gear down and do a cam/pipe

 

They still don't have the TLD in. I talked to a dealer yesterday and they said they have the std. Pred. in but not the TLD. Which one are you going to go with? The TLD is only $200.00 more. If you get one post some Pictures of it.

Did we see you? or did you see us? They are the best. They offered me a job at one point and I would have loved it, but It would have been a major pay cut. Could have been doing something I really enjoy though. The trip made me really think about getting a Pred myself. The ol lady wasn't very receptive to the idea. And you can bet I ran it by her. LOL
