a buddy is rebuilding an old 97 400 x-pedition and dosent know how the vent hoses route ?

1 off carb
1 off crankcase
1 off gear box
1 comes off steering stem that goes no where ?

please help with where they go ?

Carb hose hangs down
cranckcase to hole in airbox by filter(small fitting)
gearbox to hole in frame by airbox lid
steering stem hose is the gas tank vent hose.Comes up the stem,held in place by clip,goes under the handle bars mounting point(dogbone)and back down into the stem.
