has anyone tried the engine mods from nicholas cycle?.. cant decide to go with just 12.5:1 poston, or go with the 558 big bore kit, plus he is coming out with a 570 kit. but dont want to loose realiability. whats been tested and works.?? thanks.

 

polracer.......as far as testing goes.....Doug refuses to sell a product unless it has passed a strenous testing process by himself......all of his products are proven to perform.......Most guys say go strait for the big bore kit(which would be his stage 2 kit)....I myself am just going to put in a high comp piston.....due to lack of money.....Doug's prices are very fair too, he does a great job of building and you will have white knuckle power too!!!!

Your best bet is to just call him up.......

 

I would go with the 558 kit, and if you have any problem's, that leaves you a chance to build up another size or two.

 

call him and let him know of your budget and tell himwhat you want.....he wont let ya down.
