well i got tired of always having corrosion problems with my rotary switch on my warn winch, i could have bought a rocker switch but i wanted somthing different. I dont like hand lifts either so I decided to lift it with pneumatics. ... I used a stainless steel cylinder a two position 3 way toggle valve which is nice cus you can just flip the switch to lift it....and it also floats when the blade is down... I had to make a mounting bracket for the cyl to mount to; i bolted the bracket to the front rack...I use an air tank precharged to 100 psi so you dont need an air compressor onboard...i also use a regulator set at about 60 psi to conserve air, it only uses about 2 psi per lift...i would have pics but i tore it down untill reassembly this late fall....
