I've actually seen a picture of a v-max quad in a quad magazine. That would be 1200cc at about 150HP. I don't know about you but I'd sell the farm for one of those. I know because I ride a V-max street bike, and its an eyeball flattener!

Honda has been doing it for years on their cars, so have others.

 

 

bzizzi, WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING? Both Honda loving rags say that the Xpedition's tranny is as smooth or smoother than a Honda! Whats is a matter you diagree with your own biased Dirt wheels and Honda lovin action mags? Not that I care autos rule in my book.

i assume u have an XC700. u said u had a XC800 snow checked. both thoes machines are very fast. unfortunatly the sp700 will not have that motor. its a four stroke. but still very powerfull. if polaris put the XC700 engine in a sportsman then u would be on 2 wheels more than 4. they would prabally make u sign some libility waver when u got it too.

I have rode alot of hondas and I have ridden the 425, it shifts alot smoother than anthing else that I have ever riden. And it has more power than the rancher, thats for sure.

I just don't like the big jump in gearing from 2nd-3rd gear.

I don't have the XC have the RMK,not as fast as the XC but still mean machine I like the steep&deep.I would think that if they do as good with the 4 banger as they did with 2 stroke for sleds will be hard to beat.I have friend that has Quad with revamped 670 rotax in it.One screming machine around 170 horses.CM

 

talk about suckin gas! my friends arctic cat zr 600 drinks gas like water. it has a 13.5 gallon gas tank!

 

the RMK has 12 gallon and gets about 10mpg.CM
