Welcome to the Connection gofish, could the system be air locked? This will cause overheating.....

I feel like my system is air locked. The first time it was just idling. Then after it cooled I was able to add about another pint of cooling. Then I went riding when I got in the woods trail riding it got hot again. Radiator still full. Does anyone know how to get the air out or the system. Thanks

I would think that if you took the rad cap off and let the bike run and come up to temperature it would purge the air out of the system....

i found you have to run the machine almost to boil to get the air out if your air locked ... just take the cap off and run the machine. You might also want to check the radiator ... it needs to be at lease 70% clean for enough cooling.

I let my atv idle about 40 minutes with the radiator cap off. Then I was able to add a little more coolant. After idling that long it never showed hot again. I think I may be ready for the trails again. Thanks to all for your help.
