I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the single lever braking, and make if like a normal front/back set up. I'd like to do it on my Trail Boss...

I think it would be fairl easy i plan on doing it myself. I think all we have to do is block off the line that goes from the T-intersection back to the rear cylinder and then put a screw in where the line runs to the rear brake caliper.

HPD sells a split lever brake kit, I think it is $140.

gixxer600,
Ive been thinking of doing that myself, I just havent had time to check into it. I wonder if those are standard pipe threads so you could just buy a couple of plugs to block them off?

Seems $140 is kind of high for this kind of application don't you think quadfather??? Wonder if anybody is making a do-it-yourself kit.

Hot Seat has a kit which includes all the hardware to do this. Includes a new master cylinder, brake lever, and line to allow use of rear brake with the right hand. Part number ATVSBK & cost is $139.

You could just plug the line from the junction block but then you would only be able to brake with your foot to the rear. Hope this helps.
