I contacted Amsoil about what equivalent front gearcase oil I should use. They recommended their "Shock Therapy Light #5 Suspension fluid".

This oil seems to be for shocks.

Is this what other Amsoil users are using in front gearcase? They recommended their standard chaincase synthetic for the transmission and rear gearcase.

I believe that the front gearcase on the 700 takes the Polaris hub fluid, which can be substituted with Synthetic ATF type F

 

Oh, BTW, I use their chaincase lube in my trans. Good stuff!
